i have a feeling i am going to have to explain to my jw folks why i have decided to allow my children to participate in holidays at school.

theyll probably be wondering too why i will get together with our non jw family for the holidays.. .

we know jws avoid holidays because of their pagan origins.

i have a friend who has been at beth-hell since early in 1971. he is arthritic and went one time too many to the infirmary and finds himself with no job, no education, and no benefits after nearly 40 years working his butt off at brooklyn then at patterson.....please help me spread this video around.. thanks kids!.

reading the different posts have really helped me.. i would like to know if someone could explain why it is the the jw believe that jesus is micheal the archangel.

Hypocritical statement

what do you think of this statement.it is taken from the june 15th wt from the study article

"things from which we must flee"

quoting from p9 para 10: "additional 'disgusting things'include acts of pedophilia and other forms of sexual immorality committed by clergymen and tolerated by the church authorities.is it any wonder that jehovah god will soon rid this earth of false religion ?

Ps 45

according to the revelation book on its comments regarding ps 45,the virgin companions of the bride represent the great crowd.yet as ps 45 v 15 clearly shows they enter into the palace of the king with the bride.to my way of thinking this would indicate that the great crowd enter heaven also.however the rev book says on page 276 par 14 "the prophetic account in psalm 45 describes the order of events.

first the enthroned king rides forth to the conquest of his enemies.

(verses 1-7) then the marriage is performed, the heavenly bride being attended on earth by her virgin companions, the great crowd.

the wts denies the bodily resurrection of christ.

here is a verse i have found which , to my way of thinking, adds weight to the bodily resurrection.

read john 20:6,7.did you notice that the face cloth,napkin or shroud from jesus burial garments was folded up and was lying seperate from the rest of the bandages or linen strips.if ,as the wts teaches,god had simply evaporated jesus body in some way then surely all the bandages would be lying in the same place,the place where jesus body lay.i visualize the scripture this way.jesus body is restored to life.he sits up and undoes the bandages from around his head.he then lays these to one side,stands up and divests himself of the other linen cloths.i may be way off with this but it seems to fit with other scriptures relating to the bodily resurrection.
